Stunning Orange Boho Wedding and Everlasting Love

ย Shades of orange, taupe and toffee inspire Jo and Jinโ€™s chic boho florals and modern wedding day.ย

The Design

ย โ€œItโ€™s a different experience when you have a couple who truly puts all of their trust in your expertise and lets you do what you think will fulfill their design dreams!โ€ Thatโ€™s how Morgan Sass, a Lead Planner at BFE, described the process of working with her couple Joanna and Jin for their wedding this past April 9th.

โ€œElevated boho chicโ€ is how Morgan describes their design. A take on their Hawaii lifestyle but brought back home and using local vendors. As you can see from their preliminary design board below, the couple was intentional in not only their colors (shades of orange, taupe and toffee), but the use of rentals to create a unique space. โ€œThe Tinsmith had everything we needed for a wedding in Wisconsinโ€ฆ We were very intentional with our rentals. The bentwood chairs and colored goblets elevated the tablescapes.โ€

Their Story

ย Itโ€™s not often we get to help couples like Jo and Jin. Their love began in Wisconsin but has been residing in Hawaii these past few years. They were intent on creating a celebration for their family and friends that was about love, unity, and joy after a the past few years spent in a pandemic.

The Outcome

The crescent and aisle arrangements seen in the reception space were used during their ceremony as well. The backdrop to their head table can be seen at the end of their aisle, a reminder of the love exchanged just moments before.

The floral design by Sunborn Gardens is jawdropping. The use of pampas leaves elevated the look of floral buds in gold vases. The stationary colors worked seamlessly to prepare guests for the desert-colored day.

As a fun send-off, the couple opted out of a traditional cake-cutting, and instead went with a champagne tower. It truly kicked off the raging party that followed!
